Famous Alumni: Arts and entertainment Actor Tim Conway Actor Robert Patrick Actresses Dorothy Gish and Lillian Gish, Though neither Dorothy nor Lillian Gish attended BGSU, Lillian Gish's theatrical roots are in Wood County, Ohio, where BGSU is located. The Gish Film Theater and Gallery in Hanna Hall is named in honor of the Gish sisters. Lillian Gish received an honorary degree from the University in the 1970s.
